Thuja occidentalis ‘Pyramidalis’ is a cultivar of the Northern White Cedar, native to North America. Its distinctive pyramidal shape and evergreen foliage make it a popular choice for landscaping.

Thuja occidentalis  ‘Pyramidalis’ has a conical, pyramidal shape with dense, vertical branching. and scale-like, aromatic, and dark green foliage.  Evergreen.
When mature is reaches a height of 4.5-6 meters  with a spread 0.9-1.2 meters.

The plant can withstand both warm summers and mild winters. it prefers well-draining soil but can tolerate a range of soil types.  Does not like heavy wet clay.

The dense foliage and vertical growth make ‘Pyramidalis’ an excellent choice for creating privacy screens or windbreaks.
The pyramidal shape make it a possible option as a formal looking hedge. Planted individually, it serves as a striking specimen plant, especially in smaller gardens or as an accent in larger landscapes.
