Description
Lonicera nitida aurea. Golden Box Honeysuckle
Golden / yellow version of this small leafed compact plant, alternative to Buxus hedge. Grows faster than buxus and responds well to clipping. Good for topiary and small to medium hedges.
Evergreen and hardy. Full sun or semi shade.
It is a compact, dense, and low-growing shrub, typically reaching a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. This makes it an excellent choice for hedges, borders, or as a ground cover. While not known for its flowers, Lonicera nitida may produce small, creamy-white blooms in late spring or early summer. The primary ornamental feature, however, is the foliage. The golden foliage may be more vibrant when exposed to sunlight.
Supplied plants are in 5cm pots and avergae one year in age
