Lavandula angustifolia ‘Munstead’ Compact, bushy perennial with a mounded form.
Typically reaches a height of 40-50 cm, silvery-gray, narrow leaves with a distinctive aromatic fragrance. Spikes of fragrant lavender-blue flowers in late spring to early summer. Suitable as a hedge or for drying as potpourri.
Likes full sun and good drainage to ensure optimal growth and flower production.
Trim slightly after flowering to maintain shape and vigour. Cutting back spent flower spikes may promote a second bloom.
Plants supplied are in 5cm pots and average one year in age.
