Description
Hebe ‘Townsonii’ is a compact, evergreen shrub with a dense, bushy habit which typically grows to a height of 1 to 1.5 meters.
The narrow, lance-shaped leaves are glossy, dark green. In late spring to early summer, Hebe ‘Townsonii’ produces spikes of small, tubular flowers. The flowers are usually lavender or light purple fading to white.
Climate: Prefers full sun to partial shade. Thrives in a position with plenty of sunlight but can tolerate some shade. Hardy plant.
Light pruning after flowering helps maintain a compact shape and encourages bushy growth. Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring to support healthy growth.
Mulching around the base helps retain soil moisture, suppress weeds, and regulate soil temperature.
Supplied plants are in 5cm pots and average one year in age.
