Description
Griselinia ‘Broadway Mint’ is a cultivar of the native New Zealand broadleaf tree, Griselinia littoralis. It is valued for its attractive foliage and suitability for hedging and landscaping purposes.
Glossy, mint-green leaves with wavy edges, grows to a height of 2-4 meters. Forms a dense, bushy habit, making it an excellent choice for hedging.
Well-adapted to New Zealand’s temperate climate. Moderately frost-hardy, suitable for most regions in New Zealand except severe frosts
Well-draining soil is preferred. Griselinia ‘Broadway Mint’ can tolerate a range of soil types. Does not like long eriods of dry or waterlogged soil
Full sun to partial shade. Thrives in a sunny position, but can also tolerate some shade.
Responds well to regular pruning, making it an ideal choice for formal hedges and topiary.
