Armeria ‘Ballerina Red’, is a compact, evergreen perennial that boasts large, ball-shaped blooms packed with small rose-red flowers.
It blooms profusely in mid to late spring and sporadically in summer. The flowers are on stiff stems above cushion-shaped, grassy foliage with lance-shaped, blue-green leaves.
Easy to grow and is perfect for edging walks, borders, rock gardens, or containers. It is a low maintenance, salt-tolerant perennial.
Adds vibrant color and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. The clumps will spread slowly, and it’s virtually disease and pest-free. Plus, it attracts bees and butterflies, making it an excellent choice for edging, border fronts, rock gardens, coastal sites, or massed ground cover in small spots
