Leptinella traillii , commonly known as Button Daisy, is a native creeping groundcover features small, mid-green, fern-like leaves and delicate yellow flowers that bloom in spring and summer. Growing up to 10 cm tall and spreading 70 cm wide, it thrives in well-drained soil with full sun or partial shade.
In a New Zealand garden, Leptinella traillii is perfect for filling gaps between rocks and pavers, creating lush borders, or adding greenery to containers. Its hardy nature makes it suitable for coastal areas and it can withstand moderate frosts and dry periods.
