Gardenia veitchii can bs used as an informal fragrant hedge or mass planted. Regaular pruning after flowering can help to maintain size. Will get to 1.5m without pruning.
Gardenia ‘Veitchii’ thrives in full sun to light shade and prefers consistently moist, acidic, organically rich, well-drained soils . Gardenia are vigorous feeders so seasonal fertiliser and compost/mulch application is necessary to provide a with a lush green plant and to maintain soil conditions.
