Phormium tenax commonly known as New Zealand Flax or Harakeke, is a striking and versatile evergreen perennial that is widely used in gardens throughout New Zealand. Phormium tenax typically reaches a height and spread of 2m x 2m, forming an upright, fountain-like clump. Has tall flower spikes in summer.
Provides food for native birds especially Tuis.

Supplied plants are in 5cm pots and average one to two years in age.
