Description
Pseudopanax ‘Adiantifolius,’ is an evergreen shrub native to New Zealand.
Typical of other pseudopanax it has tough leaves with a thick leathery appearance, these tough leaves allow it to survive in coastal situations in the full sun. Its bushy growth habit which is easily pruned means it can be used as a screen or hedge in the garden.
Inconspicuous greenish flowers may appear in late spring or early summer.
Prune selectively to maintain a desired shape and size, and remove any dead or damaged growth.
Pseudopanax ‘Adiantifolius’ is generally hardy in New Zealand, withstanding a variety of weather conditions. However, young plants may benefit from protection during severe frosts.
Supplied plants are in 5cm pots and average 1 – 2 years in age
