Description:

  • Carex maorica is a perennial grass-like plant with arching, green foliage.
  • It typically reaches a height of around 80 to 100 centimeters, forming clumps that can spread gradually to about 50cm wide.
  • The leaves are narrow and green, flowers are pale green , the seeds  are attractive to birds.

Growing Conditions:

  • Carex maorica like wet areas and is suited to be planted beside ponds and streams.  it can tolerate periodic waterlogging.

Design Tips:
